KTM 450 EXC-F XCF-W Six Days WIRING DIAGRAM

BIO Throttle position sensor circuit A
B12 Intake air temperature sensor
B21 Engine coolant temperature sensor (cylinder 1)
B26 Rollover sensor
B37 Crankshaft position sensor
B41 Manifold absolute pressure sensor (cylinder 1)
R51 Ignition coil (cylinder 1)
S51 Map-Select switch for driving mode (optional)
S55 Map-Select switch for basic position (optional)

Cable colors:

Installing the cylinder head KTM 500 EXC-F XCF-W Six Days
Mount the dowels. Put the new cylinder head gasket in place.
Put the cylinder head in place.
Put on the cylinder head bolt washers.
Mount cylinder head bolts and tighten in a crisscross pattern.

Installing the camshaft KTM 500 EXC-F XCF-W Six Days
Place the timing chain over the camshaft gear. Push the camshaft into the bearing seats.
The markings on the camshaft and of the cylinder head are lined up with each other.
Position the camshaft support plate. Mount and tighten screw

Installing the timing chain tensioner KTM 500 EXC-F XCF-W Six Days
Activate release and push the timing chain tensioner all the way back.
Position the timing chain tensioner with the gasket.
Mount and tighten screws
Mount and tighten screw plug with washer and spring 

Checking the valve clearance KTM 500 EXC-F XCF-W Six Days
Remove special tool
Crank over the engine repeatedly.
Position the engine at ignition top dead center.
Check the valve clearance at all valves between the valve and rocker arm.
Remove the special tool
Mount and tighten screw

Adjusting the valve clearance KTM 500 EXC-F XCF-W Six Days
Remove the timing chain tensioner.
Remove the camshaft.
Raise rocker arm on the outside.
Remove shims and set down in the position in which they were installed.
Correct the shims according to the findings from checking the valve clearance.
Insert suitable shims.
Install the camshaft.
Install the timing chain tensioner.
Check the valve clearance. 

Installing the oil filter KTM 500 EXC-F XCF-W Six Days
Tilt the motorcycle to one side and fill the oil filter housing to about 1/3 full with engine oil.
Insert oil filter into the oil filter housing.
Oil the O-ring of the oil filter cover.
Mount oil filter cover
Mount and tighten screws
