City traffic and urban logistics are changing: The population is growing, the ques-tion of pollutant and noise emissions is coming more and more to the fore,
zero-emission zones are being considered. At the same time, however, the demands and requirements in goods and distribution transport are on the increase. With the new MAN eTGM, produced in small series, we are the first commercial vehicle manufacturer to provide the perfect solution to meet these challenges head on.

The all-electric MAN eTGM meets all the essential requirements posed by inner-city deliveries of the future. The MAN eTGM is emission-free at a local level and as quiet as a whisper, while still maintaining an outstanding payload and flexible design.

No surprises here as our MAN eTGM combines over 100 years of experience with commercial vehicles, not to mention our extensive expertise in alternative drives.We were awarded the coveted “2020 European Transportation Prize for Sustaina-bility” for this vehicle, which is awarded every two years by “Transport” magazine. When you acquire a MAN eTGM, we provide you with a team of experts to make your introduction to electric mobility as easy and as successful as possible. They offer customised, comprehensive and solution-oriented advice. All relevant areas are covered – from fleet analysis, charging infrastructure, energy management to design options. Additionally, MAN eTGM drivers are provided with training special-ly designed to meet the demands of driving an all-electric vehicle.

SUPERIOR MAN TECHNOLOGY.
Innovative and sustainable.
The MAN eTGM is driven by a 264 kW electric motor, which in turn supplies a torque of max. 3,100 Nm. Auxiliary units such as power steering, air compressors and the air-conditioning system are operated electrically, are controlled as required by the energy management system and are thus ener-gy-saving. Powerful lithium-ion batteries supply the energy forthe MAN eTGM, providing a range of up to 190 km for efficient operation in local traffic.* The battery packs are charged external-ly via the electric supply network and in acceleration phases dur-ing driving.

Using recuperation, the vehicle’s motive energy is converted into electrical energy when accelerating and braking and is then fed back into the battery, increasing the range. A display in the instru-mentation gives the driver a clear overview of the batteries’ cur-rent energy level. To further emphasise the vehicle’s reliability, MAN offers an addi-tional 6 year warranty for the battery packs, in addition to the standard vehicle warranty.

• Technology: All-electric, emission-free infinitely variable drive system with a central electric motor.
• Torque: Maximum output of 264 kW / 360 hp with a torque of 3,100 Nm.
• Battery: 12 highly efficient lithium-ion NMC battery packs with an available capacity of 185 kWh, in a space-saving layout. The “chiller” ensures the battery packs are cooled as required as they release output.
• Range: A range of up to 190 km – ideal for inner-city distribution transport and sufficient even for large conurbations.
• Charging times: The slow charge with a 22 kW alternating current (AC) charge socket protects the batteries and takes approx. 8 hours. On the other hand, charging with up to 150 kW direct current(DC) takes only about an hour, making it ideal for charging during short breaks.
