- Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS): ABS optimizes braking while maintaining directional control, especially in an emergency situation and on slippery surfaces.
- Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD): The weight of passengers and cargo will inevitably increase the braking distance, but the Nissan NOTE’s EBD system serves to reduce the braking distance by sensing the load carried and redistributing the brake-force in the front and rear for more effective braking.
- Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC): VDC automatically controls brake and engine output to enhance stability when sensors detect that the vehicle may slip sideways, due to steering, braking or accelerator pedal operation.
- Hill Start Assist (HSA): HSA prevents the car from rolling back when it is pulled off on the sloping ground. When you shift your feet from the brake pedal, the system will continue to work on the brake, thus the car can start smoothly and safely.
